Polish game developer CD PROJEKT Red has issued an update on Cyberpunk 2077 after stating their “Commitment to Quality”. Co-founder Marcin Iwinski personally explained in a video released on YouTube on the 14th of January the new updates roadmap of the game that unveils what can be anticipated in Cyberpunk 2077’s next-gen versions to be released on Play Station 5 and Xbox Series X when free DLCs and other developments are released.
The Polish studio stated they will be releasing bigger and smaller patches regularly and the first update will be discharged within 10 days, then will be followed by more notable updates in the following weeks. The “multiple updates and improvements” shown in the roadmap might be released on the second quarter of this year nearing 2022 which includes free DLCs and free next-gen console updates. CD PROJEKT Red said more information will be released in the coming months about the updates and enhancements. Also, to those who are playing on Play Station 5 and Xbox Series consoles via backward compatibility, they can expect free next-gen updates in 2021.
Cyberpunk 2077 can be played on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. It’s also available on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, but only by backward compatibility.
